What the app does
SeamlessVideoLooper creates seamless looping videos entirely on your device. All video processing is performed locally — your videos never leave your phone.
On-device processing
Video analysis, loop-point detection, blending, and rendering all happen on your device. No video data is uploaded to any server.
Optional data collection
The app collects limited diagnostic data. Every category below can be turned off in Settings, and none of it ever includes your videos:
- Feedback reports (user-initiated): When you tap "Send Feedback," the app may include device model, Android version, app version, device tier, a log snippet, current step, settings, video metadata, quality metrics, and an optional screenshot. You can uncheck any item before sending.
- Crash reports (on by default, opt-out): Automatic crash reports are enabled by default and can be disabled in Settings. Crash reports include the stack trace, thread name, and device information.
- Hardware Test results (on by default, opt-out): The app runs a Hardware Test to find out which video and AI components your device supports. Completed test results are uploaded automatically — they include device model, Android version, app version, device performance tier, and per-component outcomes (whether each component works on your device, how fast it runs, and a short error description when it fails). This helps us improve compatibility across devices. You can disable it in Settings ("Report Hardware Test results").
- Identifiers: Feedback, crash, and Hardware Test reports are linked to a persistent device identifier (Android ID) and an anonymous app-account ID (created by Firebase Anonymous Authentication). These let us group and de-duplicate reports from the same install. They are not tied to your name, email, or any real-world identity, and are never used as an advertising ID.
Third-party services
The app uses the following Firebase services solely for report submission (feedback, crash, and Hardware Test reports):
- Firebase Authentication (anonymous sign-in)
- Firebase Firestore (report storage)
- Firebase Storage (optional screenshot upload)
No other third-party services, analytics SDKs, or advertising SDKs are used.
Data retention
Reports (feedback, crash, and Hardware Test results) are stored in Firebase Firestore. Local screenshot cache on your device expires after 30 days. You can disable crash sharing and Hardware Test result sharing at any time in Settings.
No ads, no tracking, no analytics
SeamlessVideoLooper does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking pixels. The app does not track your usage patterns or browsing behavior.
Data deletion
To request deletion of data associated with your feedback reports, use "Send Feedback" in the app and describe your request. If the app is no longer installed, you can instead contact us by email (see below).
Contact
For questions, feedback, or bug reports, please use Send Feedback in the app — it attaches the context we need to help and reaches us directly.
For privacy-specific questions that can't be sent through the app (for example, data deletion after uninstall), email: scintech.dev@gmail.com
